Described by Medium as “a powerhouse of political action, motivated to help others through her music,” Williams transforms lived experience into lyrical testimony. Her current release, A Better Woman, is more than a love song—it is a meditation on dignity, visibility, and restorative love, a term she uses to reframe narratives around “the houseless, and every relationship we as humans exist in.”
“Men and displaced [houseless] have a long history of being unseen and discarded,” Williams shares. “We all need space to give and receive love. Why not write a love song inspired by the wonderful male figures in my life—and by those society too often forgets?”
